ARTHROMAX small breeds is a joint nutrition supplement for small breed dogs and cats that feeds and helps to support the cartilage on their joints, helping them maintain normal movement and mobility. It can be used in young animals with growth problems and in older animals with osteoarthritis as well.
Glucosamine hydrochloride 250 mg
Glucosamine stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are the building blocks of the cartilage matrix.
MSM (Metilsulfonilmetan) 120 mg
MSM is an organic sulfur compound. Sulfur is needed to form connective tissue. MSM also seems to act as an analgesic by lessening nerve impulses that transmit pain. Scientific research has shown that there was an inprovement of symptoms like pain, inflamation and swelling in patients by a combined intake of MSM and glucosamine.
Chondroitin sulphate 80 mg
Chondroitin and hyaluronic acid retain water in the articular cartilage, what makes cartilage more flexible and more resistant to injuries and strains.
Hyaluronic acid 10 mg
Manganese sulphate 7 mg
Manganese is essential for synthesis of GAGs and collagen and allows cross-linking of collagen fibers.
Addition: Magnesium stearate
Dogs: 1 tablet daily per 10 kg BW. Cats: ½ tablet daily per 5 kg BW. Or as advised by your veterinary surgeon.
Directions for use:
For oral administration. ARTHROMAX small breeds can be given whole or the tablets can be crumbled and mixed with food.
